Have you ever hiked to the summit of the tallest land mass in the area in frigid blustery weather? 
This party has!
On New Year's Day of 2015 we met up with my sister and her family and hiked enchanted rock, had a picnic and froze our ears off!
It was so incredibly windy that day that the gusts upset our inner ears. We all found a way to cover our ears as we hiked.
If you look closely you can see that Keith has an ace bandage wrapped around his ears, and I was using my scarf over mine!

After our hike we rewarded ourselves with a stroll through Fredericksburg, froyo and local eats. Then we headed back to Mimi and Papa Dean's to enjoy just a few more days in San Antonio!
