Last winter I threw an old red potato in my garden. You know...the kind from the grocery store. The kind that's sprayed with no sprout chemicals. Guess what I found underneath my gigantic potato plant last weekend! We have harvested greens and potatoes so far from this early garden, tomatillos, peppers and blueberries are not far behind.
I can not wait to eat from the yard again. So far we have been successful with most things that we planted on accident and on purpose. Now if I could just learn to make cheese and yogurt....
